Shipping Policy

Operating Hours

Our operating hours are from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays. All orders are packed and processed during our daily processing window, which runs from 9AM to 12PM. Orders placed after 9AM will be processed on the following working day. We aim to ensure all orders are fulfilled efficiently and in a timely manner within our standard operating schedule.

Local Singapore Delivery

1. Order Processing & Delivery Time

Orders typically require 1–2 working days to be processed before they are handed over to our courier. Once picked up by the courier, delivery usually takes 1–3 working days, depending on the delivery location. Please note that all delivery timeframes are estimates and do not account for internal order processing time.

If your order includes pre-order items, the shipment will only be dispatched once all items are available and ready to be shipped together.

2. Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking ID via email. You can track your delivery status by that tracking ID

3. Shipping Methods

  • Standard Delivery (3 - 4 working days): $5 (free for orders >$80)
  • Express Delivery (1 - 2 working days) : $18

Kindly note that all orders require 1–2 working days for processing before they are shipped out.

Self Collection

At the moment, in-store pickup is not available. All orders will be shipped directly to your chosen delivery address. We’ll be sure to update you if this option becomes available in the future!

International Shipping

We do accept international order requests. Simply reach out to us via our Chatbox with your shipping details, and we’ll assist you from there. Please note that additional international shipping fees and tax charges will be borne by the customer.

Return & Exchange Policy

Do you accept returns/refunds?

We sincerely apologise, but we do not accept returns or offer refunds for any orders once they are placed or item(s) are purchased. All sales are final and non-refundable.

Eligibility for Exchanges

You may be eligible for an exchange if:

1. You received a defective or damaged item (e.g. visible stains, tears, or manufacturing flaws that affect product usability).
2. The wrong item was sent.
3. An item from your order is missing.
4.Change of Mind ($5 processing fee will be charged) (Refer to Order Exchange)
5. Sizing Exchanges

For wrong sizing, we allow a one-time, one-to-one exchange for a different size of the same style and colour, subject to availability. Requests to exchange for a different colour or style will be considered a change of mind and will incur a $5 processing fee, to be borne by the customer.

⚠️ Please note: Slight color variations due to monitor settings or minor sizing discrepancies are not considered defects unless otherwise stated in the product description.

We do not accept exchanges for the following

  1. Orders purchased with discount codes / store credits / redemption points
  2. Sale & Discounted Items
  3. Items that have been deliberately damaged
  4. Items that do not have it's tag fully intact
  5. Items that have become defective after washing/ironing or mishandling
  6. Items purchased from TudungPeople Overseas or third-party
  7. Innerwear, inners, and accessories (for hygiene reasons)

We sincerely apologise for any incorrect or defective items you may have received. If this occurs, please contact us via our Chatbox within 14 working days from the date of delivery or purchase.
Kindly include clear snapshots of the issue along with your order ID for verification purposes. Please note that we are unable to proceed with any request without a valid order ID or receipt.

Once your return request is approved, you will have 7 working days to return the item to us (upon approval). All returned items must be in their original condition. This includes being

  • Unscented, unworn, unwashed, unaltered
  • All tags intact.

We regret to inform you that any requests made beyond the stated time frame will not be accepted. Additionally, any wear and tear or damage caused after wearing or washing the item will not be considered a defect and is not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

Order Exchanges

Whether your purchases were made online or in-store, an approval (from our Customer Service Engagement) will be needed before an exchange is administered.

How It Works:

  1. Submit an exchange request via our chatbox within 14 days from the date of purchase.
  2. Wait for our team to review and approve your request.

Once approved, head down to our boutique for a 1-to-1 exchange of the approved item(s) or we will send the item(s) to you (delivery cost will be borne by the customer, unless stated otherwise).

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • All exchanges are subject to stock availability.
  • We strictly do not and will not reserve any items — no exceptions.
  • Exchanges will only be processed after prior approval via the online request form.
  • No exchange with New Release collection (until 1 week after the release date in Singapore)
  • No exchanges are allowed for both parkas (half-zip parka and long parka) due to limited quantity.

We will decline your exchange request if (the item):

  • Does not have its original tag intact
  • Is not in its original packaging
  • Has been worn, washed, or altered in any way
  • An e-receipt for the intended item(s) is not provided

Customer A made an online order and received a apparel in the wrong size.
– She submits an exchange request within 14 days of purchase.
– Her request is approved
– She visits the boutique for a 1-to-1 exchange after the approval

Customer B changed her mind after purchasing a shawl and now prefers an instant hijab.
– She submits an exchange request within 14 days of purchase.
– Her request is approved, she will have to pay a $5 processing fee per order receipt.
– After payment, she proceeds with the approved in-store exchange.

For any exchanges, if the customer opts to have the exchanged item(s) delivered, the delivery fees for both the return pick-up (of the incorrect item) and the delivery of the replacement item will be borne by the customer.

Refund Process

If your refund request is approved:

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–14 business days from the date of approval. Additional time may be required depending on your bank/card provider.
If more than 15 business days have passed and you have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@tudungpeopleint.com.

4. No Reservations Policy

We do not accept reservations of any kind for online or in-store purchases.

All items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure fairness for all customers, we are unable to hold or reserve items — including through DMs, email, or walk-in requests.

FAQ

I would like to make changes to my order.

Once an order is placed, we’re unable to make any changes—including cancellations or edits—as it immediately enters our fulfillment process to ensure timely delivery.

I would like to change my shipping address

We allow delivery address changes within one hour of purchase. Requests made after this timeframe are not guaranteed and may cause delivery delays.

If the change is made outside the one-hour window and requires re-routing or reshipping, additional charges may apply.

I would like to make a reservation.

To ensure fairness for all customers, we do not accept reservations for items, either online or in-store. All purchases are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you process orders on weekends?

Our team does not operate or fulfill orders on weekends. Orders placed during this time will be processed on the next working day.

My order hasn't arrived after 4 days .

During peak periods, we recommend allowing an additional 1–2 working days for processing.

Please note that your order will only be shipped once all items are available, including any pre-order items.

If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out via our Chatbox, and a customer service representative will get back to you within 1–2 working days.

Can I exchange items purchased from TudungPeople overseas stores?

No, exchanges are only accepted for items purchased directly from the TudungPeople Singapore website or at our physical store located at 55 Arab Street.

How long does exchange process take?

How many exchanges am I allowed?

Exchanges are allowed only once per transaction (order).
